First a little history: Chicago Tribune published its first edition on June 10, 1847. For many years, the masthead read “The World’s Greatest Newspaper” (in fact, those initials form the call letters for WGN radio and TV). As part of Tribune Publishing, we at Studio 1847 share a long history as storytellers with an eye for what people want to read, view and experience.

Our founders recognized and capitalized on the digital-content revolution. Our content studio launched in 2010 and has experienced several name changes as we’ve grown and expanded our service offerings. We’ve been 435 Digital, Tribune Content Solutions, part of Motiv8 Agency, and now we are Studio 1847. But by any name, our results are sweet! Our parent company, Tribune Publishing, provides us access to iconic brands, such as the Chicago Tribune, New York Daily News, Orlando Sentinel and The Baltimore Sun, which we can uniquely utilize to give your content the targeted and quality reach it deserves.

BALTIMORE SUN Founded in 1837, The Baltimore Sun is the largest general-circulation daily newspaper based in Maryland and provides coverage of local and regional news, events, issues, people, and industries.
